Mammootty here has 121,976 likes which had made him the mist liked actor and indeed the first malayalaee to cross the1 lakh followers in facebook.
You can see here that Mohanlal had just around 113,002 likes on February 1 2012 . He was behind Mammooty by a big margin of almost 9,000 likes.
But the fact that Mohanlal fans had been too good in promoting the page of their fans needs to be mentioned as on February 3 2012 Mohanlal had overtaken Mammootty.

Here see that Mohanlal has got 135,389 likes which says that Mohanlal was able to garner around 22,000 likes in 2 days time.
If you see the rankings of facebook likes you can see that except the top 4 actors no other actor has around 22,000 likes in their whole life time till now.
Mammoooty had in the same time period of 2 days got only 8,000 likes while Mohanlal got 22,000 likes.
So the main thing that was active here was the enthusiasm of the Mohanlal fans and they seems to have succeeded in their aims.
