Open Zero Balance Current Account At CSB Now

Zero Balance Current Account
Current accounts are business accounts much needed for the proper running of any business in the country. The availability and possibility to transfer huge sums without any restrictiuons makes the current accounts more beneficial than savings bank accounts.

But the major issue that draws back customers to open a current account is the fact that to open a current account, you need to invest a certain sum as the account opening charges and has to maintain that balance in the account always. Most of the banks in India takes this minimum balance to be around 10,000 rupees. This money forever lies in the bank earning no interest for the businessmen. If ever the amount in your balance comes below this minimum balance, you are fined by the bank as per their terms and you lose money further.

To avoid this dead money ,many starters in the business do not start a current account in the banks. And hence the volume of transactions are limited which in turn affects their business indirectly.

Now Start a Current Account with Zero Balance
Catholic Syrian Bank one of the oldest banks in India has come with a new scheme facilitating this. The new scheme of current accounts has introduced the zero balance system which will allow business houses and other organisations to open a current account with the bank with no initial sum of money.

Advantages of opening a Catholic Syrian Bank Current Account

Here is why we think you should shift your business to Catholic Syrian Bank
  • ZERO BALANCE CURRENT ACCOUNT
The minimum balance required for the current accounts in many banks are between the range of 2000 – 20000 INR.But this money earns you no interest and you can call this amount as dead money.Catholic Syrian bank allows you to create current account with zero balance and you save on the money which can be routed else where.
  • NO MINIMUM BALANCE REQUIRED
Along with the requirement by many banks of the initial remittance amount, there goes a minimum balance criteria. You are required to keep a fixed amount of money as minimum balance and whenever the money goes below that amount, you are supposed to pay the penal charges.

Why do you pay penal charges even when there is( suppose) 9000 INR in your account?

Opening a Catholic Syrian bank account with zero balance allows you not only to start your business with zero initial remittance, but also you pay no penal charges for any withdrawals from your side.

  • NO FOLIO CHARGES
All bank accounts are costly. Even if you have a current account or savings bank account with any bank, they take a half yearly /yearly folio charges depending on the transactions made. But in Catholic Syrian Bank Current accounts, you are not charged any folio charges whatsoever. You open a current account with no initial remittance, with no minimum balance stipulations and you are not charged the folio charges. This perhaps is the best deal for businessmen all over India.

  • NO RESTRICTIONS FOR CASH WITHDRAWALS
You might be thinking then that the transactions are limited. NO of course not. There is absolutely no restrictions on the amount of cash you can withdraw. All these cash withdrawals are changeless too.

  • CHEQUE BOOK IS ISSUED
Just like any other current account, you are issued the cheque books too.And further depending on the volume of transactions you can request the branches to issue more cheque leaves. This is another advantage of opening the current account with the Catholic Syrian Bank.

As the cheque leaves are the prime source of transactions for the businessmen, the cheque leaves provided by CSB is MICR cheque leaves which will get passed at any clearing houses in India.

  • FREE INTERNET BANKING
Internet banking transactions have been made free of cost and you get more easiness doing the transactions yourself. There are banks which may charge you for the provision of Internet banking, but in CSB you are never charged for this facility.

  • FREE MOBILE BANKING
Mobile Banking too is provided free of cost by CSB. You only need to fill up a mobile banking application after the account is opened.

  • FREE EMAIL ALERTS
Any transactions made in your accounts are automaticaly reported via email to you. You get an account statement email everytime you make a transaction on your account. You can change the frequency of emails to either every transaction/ daily/wekly as per your requirement.

So what are you waiting for? It is time for you to boost your business with the best deal in the banking sector.

5 Tips to Pay Off Credit Card Debt Fast

5 Tips to Pay Off Credit Card Debt Fast
Credit card debt is very easy to rack up because you can spend it on anything you like and continue to do so until you’ve hit your limit. Unlike other loans such as school loans and car loans which have a specific purpose, you are free to spend however you please with your credit cards, which is why many people get trapped in unmanageable debt. The average household has just under $16,000 in credit card debt but having more than that is not at all uncommon. So how can you get rid of your credit card debt faster?

The Amount of Debt
Before beginning a plan of any kind it’s important to know how much debt you really have. Many people just assume a number but have no idea exactly how deeply in debt they are. Check all of your statements, call all your credit card companies and find out exactly how much your owe. It’s easier to keep track of it if you write down the amount you owe along with the minimum payment and when it’s due. This way, you have all your records right in front of and you can begin to manage it properly.

Stop Using Your Credit Cards/Budget Yourself
This seems like common knowledge but once you start paying off your credit cards, you don’t want all your hard work for nothing by getting them racked up again. Get into the habit of planning out a budget for yourself that you can pay your expenses in cash. Keep tweaking this budget until it works for you; if you find you spend more than you should and can’t work on paying down your debt, try to lower some of your variable expenses or get a second stream of income.

The Snowball Method
The snowball method is a very simple way of saving a lot of money on interest and it’s very effective if stuck through to the end. Basically with this method, you single out your debt with the largest interest rate and focus all your money into that first; only pay the minimum payment on the remainder of your debts until the one you’re focusing on is paid off. Once that one is paid off, move onto the next highest interest rate and continue this until all your debts are paid off. By using this method, you’ll save on the accumulated interest of your high interest credit cards and can use the money that you save to accelerate your debt repayment program.

The Snowflake Method
While the snowball method focuses on putting a lot of your energy into one debt at a time, the snowflake method focuses on making very small payments as often as you can. The point of this method is the accumulation of the small change that we would otherwise spend on something we don’t need. We’re literally talking about $4.57 payments and $13.81 payments. These seem too small to matter but if you put these into your debt as often as you can, within a month that could be an extra $100 or more. By using these methods together you can get even more out of your debt plan and pay off your credit cards even faster.

Paying Debt Doesn’t Happen Overnight
Paying back debt can be a long and tedious process but it’s well worth it in the end. The important thing to remember is that consistency really is the key to succeeding and to stick to the plan no matter what. If you just pay off a little bit and then stop or continue to use it and rack it up again, you’re right back where you started. Use these steps to help pay off your credit card debt and try to keep at it for an extended period of time. By working hard and being consistent you can be out of debt in no time.

Spot market trading in silver investment

Spot market trading in silver investment
Spot marketing trading is a very common practice in modern commodities futures and in fact, it is one of the approaches taken in trading silver.  Now often there is a price that is quoted in leading markets for silver for immediate transactions and this is what is called the spot price. In many cases in spot market trading, the immediate transaction where the spot price of the commodity is quoted should be executed and finalized within one day or two the latest.

However when spot trading in sliver; there are important things that may influence the quoted price. The main and most significant factor that affects spot market price of silver is its supply and emend among others listed below.

Supply and demand
Supply and demand is the significant factor that may determine the spot market of silver in global markets. Now the world has numerous commodity markets that are trading in silver. The thing is many of them will set a quoted price at the spot market depending on the prices quoted at the COMEX (a section of the New York and London Merchandise regarded as the base of global silver trading) the spot market then will move and vary on an hourly basis depending on supply and demand of the commodity. The trend that is most observed is theoretically proven and as the demand for silver grows the prices do go up. However speculation in the demand and supply of the commodity may also lead to price fluctuation.

Industrial factors such as mines closing and opening
Industrial factors are also very significant in determining the spot market prices of silver. The world has different mining companies dealing with silver and therefore if there have been some industrial factors that will reduce the supply of the commodity; there will be scarcity and therefore high demand leading to price rise. However the important thing in silver investment is the supply to meet the demand. Even if the demand keeps rising and the supply is good, prices will still rise.  Political climate on the silver producing nations may also influence the supply chain.

The global economy
The status of the global economy is highly influential in the commodities market not just in silver alone. Silver prices particularly in most markets trading on diverse commodities hardly weather adverse economic climate and are hugely attributed with low gains under such circumstances. So in other words the demand can be there and the supply can be good but again the global economy may in one instance shoot down the demand for silver leading to low prices. Either way trading in the commodities market should be technical and therefore investors should be able to foresee these price variations.

3 Ways Students Can Make Some Extra Cash

3 Ways Students Can Make Some Extra Cash
College students don't have the biggest budgets, and often find themselves in need of a little extra cash. Things come up, like car repairs, extra expensive textbooks and high cell phone bills. When this happens, you may need to earn some extra money on the double. Here are a few ways you can make that happen.

Sell Some Stuff
It sounds crazy, but you may actually be able to make a few bucks by cleaning out your closet. If you have things like old textbooks, CDs that you don't want anymore or old exercise equipment lying around, turn them into money. Take some pictures of your things and post them on a classifieds website and see if you can't make some money from your junk.

Pick Up Extra Hours
If you are already working an hourly job, see if your boss can give you a few extra hours. Sometimes you can increase your workload just by asking. If that doesn't work, see if you can pick up shifts from coworkers who need some time off.

Be an Entrepreneur
I know, you probably don't have the time to start an entire business, but you may have the time to start something small. Try advertising some type of service like dog walking, music lessons or yard work. If you have good rates and can get the word out about what you do, you may be surprised at just how much money you can make this way.

Use Your Talents
If you're particular good at something like painting, photography, sewing or woodworking, sell your work. There are entire websites dedicated to people selling their handcrafts, but you can also just spread the word on your own. This is a great, and often enjoyable, way to make a few extra dollars each month.

Donate Blood or Plasma
It sounds ridiculous, but many students earn lots of spending by donating blood or plasma. In many places, you can earn up to $25 a visit. And, some donation centers increase the amount they pay you depending on how many times you have donated. This is a good way to earn some gas money and actually make a difference.

Become a Temp Worker
If you really need some cash, why not work as a temporary employee? Most cities have a few temp agencies that work to help people find short-term work. This is perfect for times like summer holidays or when you can't seem to make ends meet.

4 Ways to Avoid Wasting Money

4 Ways to Avoid Wasting Money
Are you tired of seeing your money go down the toilet? Do you wish that there was something you could do to avoid wasting your hard earned cash? If so, you might be pleased to know that there are a few precautions you can take to reduce your chances of spending money unnecessarily. If you know how and when to shop for the products you need, you will be able to buy everything you want without having to worry about what you're spending. Here are some simple ways to preserve your money.

Buy at the Right Time
Don't get something when it first comes out. Wait for a couple months when it goes on sale. If you are buying a car, get something that is a couple years old to avoid losing a ton of money in depreciation. If you're buying an electronic, wait until it is no longer the new hot item that everyone else wants. Once you are able to wait for the sales, you can literally get anything you want for a lower price than other people paid. It's all a matter of seizing an opportunity when it comes to you.

Read the Reviews
If 80% of the population hates a certain product, chances are it's pretty bad. You won't know that though unless you look over the product reviews. There is no easier way to determine what you should and should not buy because most people will be honest about what they like in a product. You have to be careful about which site you trust, as there are some out there that only review products for profit. If a review seems too positive to be true, it probably is.

Pay in Cash
Before you even think about paying for something through financing, you might want to consider all of the money you will be throwing away in interest throughout the loan. There is nothing wrong with getting financed when you need to, but you are going to lose a lot of money that way. By saving for your purchase in cash, you will be able to avoid the interest and potentially negotiate a better deal on your purchase.

Set a Budget
At the end of the day, you really just need to set a budget and stick to it. If you see something you really like, first thing about what that money could be used for. Could you pay off a bill with it? Could you go on vacation with it? Could you send your kid to college with it? What else could you be doing with that money? Asking yourself those kinds of questions will keep you on a financial track every time.

How having straight teeth makes you more money

Having straight teeth positively affects your worth. If you think getting your teeth straightened with braces or other orthodontic methods is simply a vain effort to promote your cosmetic appearance, you may want to think again. The fact is that straight teeth can affect your life in a number of ways beyond just providing you with an improved appearance. In fact, one of the key ways that you can benefit from having straight teeth is through higher earning power in your career. How can straight teeth equate to a higher paycheck?

Professional Appearance

Straight, perfectly aligned teeth create a polished look to your appearance. Many people are often distracted by crooked, uneven teeth, and they may focus more on your teeth when you talk than the actual words that you are saying. Further, when you smile or talk, your crooked teeth are giving the impression that you don't take excellent care of yourself. A beautiful smile with straight teeth, however, allows the person you are speaking to to focus more clearly on what you are saying. Further, the overall image you will present outwardly will be a clean cut, well-maintained and entirely professional image.

Clear Communications

The ability to communicate clearly is important in so many different jobs. Whether your job requires you to spend all day on the phone chatting unseen to those on the other end, to speak in front of large numbers of people or something else, you no doubt talk frequently throughout the day. In many cases, crooked or uneven teeth prevent you from fully forming sounds with your speech. Some of your words may slur, or you may have a slight impediment when making certain sounds. This can decrease your level of professionalism on the job, and it can prevent you from performing your job in the best possible way.

Interviews and Promotions

The fact is that whether you are interviewing for a new job or trying to work your way up the corporate ladder within your current company, your ability to look professional and to speak clearly are vital. In some cases, you may be passed over for a position when competing for the position against someone with a more professional appearance. You may receive lower reviews from your supervisors simply because of communication issues or the perception that your job performance is suffering because of your communication issues.

If you have crooked, uneven teeth, this news can be difficult to hear. The good news, however, is that you can easily correct your crooked teeth. Adult braces are becoming more common and are socially acceptable. Depending on how significant your orthodontic needs are, you may enjoy straight, even teeth within a few months or a few years after getting your braces on.

How to Survive Driving Emergencies; What to Do in a Driving Emergency

Drive to SurviveAt some point, you will be faced with some sort of emergency while driving. Because people do not experience these occurrences every day, many do not know how to react when disaster strikes. It is smart to learn how to react in some common situations. Being educated may not only save your life—and that of your family—but it may prevent the death of other drivers that may be involved.

General Tips
The very first thing that you should always do is wear your seatbelt. There is no excuse for not doing so. It doesn’t matter how short the trip will be, there is always potential for an accident. Many people involved in fatal accidents may have lived if they weren’t ejected from their vehicles or thrown around with bone crushing force.

Make sure that you have a mobile phone of some type, even if it is just an inexpensive prepaid phone. Being able to communicate with emergency personnel and loved ones is a major boon in an emergency situation. It alerts people to your location, and this is especially important in remote areas. You also do not have to leave your vehicle in order to seek help unless it is necessary. Sometimes people are killed by other drivers that are alongside the road during a vehicle emergency, so staying in one place is a safer option. Many cell service providers also offer an add-on roadside assistance program.
It is a good idea to maintain some sort of roadside assistance coverage. These services can provide aid for common situations such as running out of gas, developing a flat tire, and hitting a deer. They can bring you gas, jump start batteries, arrange for towing, and provide you with a ride.

Accidents Involving Others
You will probably come across accidents involving other drivers from time-to-time. Knowing how to react to these will keep you safe. Too many drivers don’t pay attention to what’s going on around them, and end up becoming involved in someone else’s accident.

This is why car pile-ups happen. You might even be one of the first people to come upon an accident. Here’s what to do:
  •     Warn others. If you have flares and warning triangles, place them away from the accident to let other drivers know to slow down.
  •     Notify emergency personnel. In the United States, this is normally accomplished by dialing 911.
  •     Let them know the nature of the accident, the location and your phone number.
  •     Access the injuries and calm the vehicle occupants. If possible, perform simple first aid.

Brake Failure
The total loss of braking capability does not happen often. Braking systems often give some indication that failure is imminent, such as spongy reaction to be being pressed. But it does happen, and can be a scary experience. What can you do to slow or stop a runaway vehicle?

  •     Keep your wits. It may be difficult, but panic may lead to loss of vehicle control. Turn on the emergency lights and honk the horn to warn others.
  •     If you have standard brakes, then pump up and down on the pedal.
  •     If you have antilock brakes, push down on the pedal and don’t let up.
  •     Move the tires across curbs or other safe objects in order to slow the vehicle.
  •     Throw the car into low gear and turn of the car’s engine only if you are clear of other vehicles and other obstacles.

Tire Blowout
This is another emergency that happens very fast, so keeping a cool head is important.

In the case of rear tire blowout, it will cause the car to weave. Maintain a firm hold on the steering wheel, let up on the accelerator and do not brake. Braking will cause the car to spin, so letting the car slow down on its own is your safest option. Front tire blowouts cause the car to pull to one side, so just maintain a straight path by holding on to the steering wheel hard. Let the car decelerate as much as possible before applying the break.

Escaping From a Flooding Vehicle
It is best to avoid moving across any road covered by water. Vehicles can be swept into running water during a flash flood, run off the road into ponds, or move into bodies of water due to improper braking when they were parked. If you find yourself sinking in water, take off your seatbelt and open/break the windows, then attempt to escape. If you are immersed, push the door open and use the force of your feet to force it open if you have to.

How to Become a Disciplined Saver and Still Live the High Life

How to Become a Disciplined Saver and Still Live the High Life

When you’re managing your financial life, you’re really balancing two problems: how to enjoy your life in the present, and how to save up for the future.  You may think these two goals are mutually opposed, since in order to enjoy life now, you necessarily have to spend money you then can’t save for the future.  In order to plan for the future, you must forego pleasures in the present.  While generally speaking this is true, there may be ways that you can save money in the present without sacrificing life’s fun activities.  It may just be a question of rethinking what it means to live the high life.

Think about how you define value for a moment.  Is value the price tag on an item you buy, or is it the amount of joy it brings into your life?  In our consumer culture, we are trained to think that what we should value is necessarily what costs more money—not necessarily what makes us happiest.  Do you spend a lot of money buying expensive designer clothing or handbags that are no higher in quality than products that cost less?  Do you spend a lot of money on a new car when an older used car might provide you with the same level of technology and sophistication?

In order to live the high life and still save money, the first thing you need to do is train yourself to think differently about value.  You need to recognize that companies want your money—they don’t necessarily want you to be happy or successful or wealthy.  But if you want to be happy, successful, and wealthy, then you need to figure out what you really want and need in life.

Let’s take the example of a vehicle.  Lots of people think they need to have a new car—because new cars are the best, right?  Wrong; most brand new cars actually come with a number of quirks that need to be worked out.

A used car that is several years old may actually offer you a better driving experience and require less work—and cost you a lot less.  Are you sacrificing anything in your lifestyle by giving up the new car and paying much lower installments on the car that is several years old?  In real terms, no—the only sacrifice is that you can no longer tell people you have a brand new car.

Another example is designer clothing.  While most designer clothing really is high in quality, you may be able to purchase the same level of quality in brands that are less famous.  You also may find designer clothing at a significant discount if you simply buy it used online or in a thrift store.  A lot of people give up their perfectly good clothing every year simply to have the newest thing.  That means you can wear that perfectly good clothing at a fraction of the price—even top designer brands you love.  Also consider that you may pay less for a custom-made, hand-tailored item by a boutique designer than you would for a mass-produced designer item.  Thus you can actually save money on a superior product.

Entertainment provides us with another great example.  Do you buy new videos and video games?  Why not simply buy used instead?  If you don’t mind a few dents in a package or scratches on a disc, you can pay a fraction of the price for your multimedia and enjoy the same quality—products that run without a problem that you can enjoy just as much.

These are just a few examples of how you can save money for the future without sacrificing your existing lifestyle—and you may even be able to make improvements to it.  Hopefully from these examples you can start to see how it works and come up with more ways you can save money.  Value doesn’t necessarily take the form of currency in our modern economy.  Figure out what makes you happy and what you enjoy, and then look for deals on those things.  You don’t always need the newest product to be happy—what you need is the best product, and the best value.

A Declassified Guide to Buying the Cheapest Car Insurance Suitable for Your Needs

A Declassified Guide to Buying the Cheapest Car Insurance Suitable for Your Needs
Owning a vehicle makes quite an investment.
Aside from the fluctuating gas prices, regular maintenance and repair costs, there’s also the skyscraper-high insurance fees to mind. Buying insurance is almost always not easy on the pocket. Because of this, many vehicle owners are hesitant and would rather be careful in their driving than put an investment on it. Budget-cutters would usually find buying insurance to be a financial risk not only because it’s expensive, but also because they think that as long as they are careful with their daily driving, costly car insurance can be pretty pointless.

That is the most common misconception that people have about insurance.

As a matter of fact, the greater risk lies in not opting to have car insurance. No matter how much we say that we are capable of reaching our every destination safe and sound when we’re behind the wheel, we will never know what the day has up its sleeve for us. Hence, it’s better to be sure than sorry. While traffic accidents can be literally a real pain in the neck and on the wallet, they also cause emotional stress for the involved. Such inconveniences can be alleviated when there’s a good car insurance to cover all the damages that were incurred.

If you are reluctant about investing on car insurance, then it’s time for you to reconsider. The costs of a road accident can be quite overwhelming and for that you would need insurance to bolster the necessary fees. True, car insurance fees can be quite daunting but fortunately, options are not limited especially if you make all the right choices right from the start.

If you follow the following tips and advices, then you might just land the best and cheapest car insurance that you can possibly avail of:

1. Choose the right type of vehicle.
Insurance companies generally calculate premiums based on your car type. They have categorized vehicles accordingly to determine which premium would suit your unit best, so the type of car you have will basically dictate the amount that you will have to pay for insurance. There are websites that give information about these car insurance groups, so it would be best to check them out for your guidance.

2. Ask for price quotes from at least three car insurance companies.
When you send in applications for car insurance, see to it that you fill the forms accurately. These companies will base their offers for premiums on the information you give them, so it’s very important that you furnish them with all the relevant details. That way, you will also be able to identify which insurance company suits your needs best.

3. Be sure that you scrutinize the policy information by the company you chose.
Review all the terms and conditions set as well as the data you provided the insurer that you have signed with. This is crucial because you would want to immediately correct any errors that you may have made in the process.

4. Try to increase your deductibles.
Your deductible is the portion of the amount that you pay before your insurer can cover the remaining expenses. Paying more than the indicated amount will reduce your premium. However, you have to be realistic about increasing your deductible. Be sure that you have more than enough money to pay for it to prevent financial shortage.

5. Pay extra attention to possible discounts and promotional offers.
Make sure that you inquire about the perks that are offered by your insurer. Many companies give discounts to clients whose vehicles are equipped with additional safety devices such as those for anti-theft, anti-lock brakes, and those that have air bags in it.

6. Drive responsibly.
If you have been driving for a long time without a speck on your driving record, then the insurers will find lesser risk in you, causing them to give you a lower premium. People who are more prone to breaking road rules and regulations are apt to traffic mishaps, so insurance companies will charge a higher premium for these clients. Same goes true for beginners in driving since they are vulnerable to committing errors behind the wheel.

Aside from all these measures to help you reduce the costs you owe in car insurance, you can look into other techniques as well. Nowadays, insurance companies have different offers to fit the needs of many clients. Make sure that you do enough research and give enough time for yourself to look through the different options available and see to it that you maximize any benefits that you can easily avail of. Shopping for car insurance is not the easiest type of shopping anyone can do, but great decisions made in the process will surely yield a lot of benefits.

How to Save for That Family Holiday!

How to Save for That Family Holiday
When you don’t have a lot of money and your income is low, a family holiday may feel like it’s out of reach—but it doesn’t necessarily have to be if you learn how to budget and save up for it.  The type of holiday you plan also can have an impact on whether or not it’s possible; some plans are probably far too expensive for you right now, but there are plenty of ways to get out and have fun without breaking the bank.

Here are some tips for saving up for your next vacation.

How to Plan Cheaper
  • Choose somewhere interesting to visit, not somewhere pricey.  A lot of people immediately think of expensive destinations (urban or rural, it doesn’t matter) to visit on their family holidays.  The reason for this is probably that those destinations are the most famous and get the most advertisement.  There are plenty of options off the beaten track that can be just as interesting and just as fun to visit and which will cost you a lot less.
  • Don’t just come up with a destination to visit, also start planning your accommodations and transportation in advance.  Most of the money you spend while you’re on vacation is going to take the forms of transit costs and accommodations.  Start hunting down affordable alternatives now instead of waiting for the last minute—in fact, consider letting this aspect of your trip planning dictate where you go!  You don’t necessarily need to have the best to have a great time.  Forego the luxury suite at the four-star hotel and check into the little hostel down the street, and remember that more pricey doesn’t necessarily mean more welcoming or better service.
  • Figure out how long you can afford to travel for and plan to do that.  If you have a job that offers you paid vacation time, this makes going on your holiday a lot easier.  Your costs will only be the costs of your trip.  If however you have to take personal time to go on your trip, you’re going to have to offset the cost of the time off work in your budget somehow.  So you may want to plan a shorter getaway.  A weekend city or country break may be more viable than a whole week holiday.
Saving in Your Budget
All of the tips above help you to save simply by reducing the amount of money you’ll be spending when you actually go on your trip.  You’re still going to need to save up money now however to afford your family holiday.  Saving up is something you should be trying to do all the time, by looking for ways to spend less money on gasoline, reducing your grocery shopping expenditures, maybe eating out less often, and only buying what you need and not want you want.  See if there are any ways that you could spend money in your day to day life which you aren’t already doing.  If you eat out once or twice a week for example, could eating at home for several months help you save up enough money for your holiday?

You may want to go above and beyond when you’re saving for a holiday.  How can you manage that?  One tip would be to work overtime and collect more money if you’re allowed to do that at your workplace.  With some professions this isn’t possible, but with others there are opportunities to do so, especially retail jobs and the like.  If there’s a holiday coming up, you could work during the holiday and collect time and a half, which would then provide you with some savings to put toward your vacation.
You can see how some of the suggestions above could perhaps make it easier for you to afford your holiday, though if you are already very frugal you may not have much room to save in your current budget.  The fact is, saving money in your day-to-day budget is definitely going to help you to afford your holiday, but how you plan and budget the trip itself is probably going to be where you save most of your money!

Taxes: How to Deduct Weather Damages

Taxes: How to Deduct Weather Damages
When severe weather conditions unexpectedly cause damage, from minor to irreparable, the IRS allows you to claim a weather-related casualty loss for the damaged property. The damage has to happen all at once, such as a tornado or lightning strike. Gradual unchecked water damage, on the other hand, does not qualify as a casualty loss event and does not qualify for the deduction.

There are specific steps to follow and qualifications to meet when claiming a weather damage tax deduction.

Step One: Calculating the Loss Amount

The first step in claiming a weather-related casualty loss deduction on your taxes is calculating the loss amount you can declare. This step is the most complex and must be done correctly.

Follow these steps to correctly calculate the loss amount:
  • Find the “fair market value” of the property both before and directly after the damage. This is what an interested party would be willing to pay for the property.
  • Determine the “adjusted cost basis.” This figure is found by adding any capital improvements made to the property to the initial cost and subtracting the depreciated value.
  • Next, subtract any insurance or other payments you have or are scheduled to get for the loss.
  • The IRS requires you to subtract $100 for every casualty loss incident that happened in a given year. Subtract that amount from the lesser of the two figures you arrived at in the previous two calculations.
  • Finally, subtract 10% of your AGI (adjusted gross income). The amount you are left with is the loss you can claim in the deduction
Step Two: Use Form 4684

Your weather-related casualty loss deduction should be filed using form 4684. The form can be downloaded on the official website of the IRS. You should use that form to detail the loss and take the claim as an itemized deduction on your Schedule-A tax filing. The IRS does not require you to provide any documentation or proof of the damage.

However, it is also prudent to keep careful records of damage you are claiming a casualty loss deduction on.

Step Three: Claim the Same Year

A weather-related casualty loss has to be claimed as a deduction the year the damage occurs. The only allowable exception to this rule is if your damaged property is in an area designated as a disaster area by the federal government.

Damage done to property during sudden inclement weather can be claimed as a deduction on your taxes. Careful math and proper filing make claiming this casualty loss deduction much easier to accomplish.

Gold Backed IRA Is Retiring With Mighty Gold

Gold Backed IRA Is Retiring With Mighty Gold

Having withstood the tests of time, gold can be considered the oldest form of currency. As an investment, people have collected gold for a numbers of reasons. These reasons may be because of volatile stock market, unstable and ever fluctuating commodity prices or even the unwanted falling home prices.

So people have always capitalized on the unswerving growth of the value of this yellow metal, which is always considered as the safest investment. The matter is very much live when one looks at it from the angle of the financial security after the retirement.

Financial Security about Gold Backed IRA

These days almost every one is concerned about their financial security during their later years due to the vulnerability of financial market. Stock and bonds are reliant on various factors in financial markets. Inflation is always raging, but the precious metals transcend this and find an upward trend in their value. So, when we talk about the various options for financial security during the time of retirement, a gold-backed IRA or gold IRA (Individual Retirement Account) is the most talked about plan that helps an individual investor enjoy a buffer against inflation. Gold backed IRA always gains its value, while other kinds of valuations like stocks and currencies may nosedive over time.

Any IRA account holder enjoys access to a financial account that has precious metals holdings. Gold remains at the top of the group of platinum, silver or palladium for IRA, which can be invested in the category of funds, stocks or precious metals. If you plan your retirement portfolio carefully, the gold backed IRA is there to reduce the volatility at that time. It is historically proven that gold can counter the direction of mutual funds, bonds and stocks.

Gold and Other Metals in the Safety Metal List

Whatever your plans may be for investment preferences, you better think of any tangible assets like platinum, gold, silver and palladium that come with the bullion values.

The powers of these metals are not restricted to any region or nation. The metals like gold and silver are the backbone for all the nations in any part of the world. Of course the values of these items differ from one country to other, but gold and silver are at all times the key players in any economy around the world. If you include gold in your IRA portfolio you can brighten up your investment performances. The improvement performances may be of two types, i.e. either it will increase your return without any sort of risks or trim down the risk by avoiding any sort of antagonistic effect on your returns.

Since the state approvals of these materials make the scenario change, here are some of the approved categories in the U.S.

The US Government Approved Bullion Coins (Gold Category)

The allowable bullion coins are American Eagle, the top in rank with the .916 net fine, then come the U.S. Buffalo, Austrian Philharmonic, Australian nugget, Kangaroo gold coins, PAMP Suisse gold bars, Credit Suisse Gold and Canadian Maple Leaf. The list also includes gold rounds and gold bars. The sizes of theses bullion coins or bars are different.

The US Government Approved Bullion Coins (Silver Category)

Here also it starts with the U.S. Eagle coins, while the others in the category are Mexican Libertad coins, Austrian Philharmonic coins, Australian kookaburra coins and Canadian Maple Leaf coins. The list includes the rounds and bars also.

The US Government Approved Coins (Platinum Category)

With only one approved palladium coin that is the Canadian Maple Leaf in the list, the other names are the Australian Platypus coins, Isle of Man noble coins, Australian Koala coins, bars and rounds, while the U.S. Eagle coin is always the front runner.

So Why to Settle with Gold Backed IRA?

As you plan for your secure and peaceful retirement, you have the option of rolling back your old plans to gold-backed IRA. There are different rules and regulations for different companies, but the best option for you is the self directed IRA. You may avail the option of “Take Control” where you can roll over your old 403b or 401k. In this option you can avail the tax-deferred benefits, which also comes with the profits and facilities of avoiding penalties of taxes. The plan also entertains the option of the successor choice. You also have the additional advantage of funding your plan by minimizing your risks. So, without a doubt gold backed IRA is a great option as your retirement policy.

Israel's stock exchange (TASE) hacked by Nightmare

Night mare a pro Palestine hackers group had hacked the Israel stock exchange and also the national carrier EL AL. With this attacks it has become clear the new front of war strategy that the Palestine had developed to counter the Israel encroachment. It is worthy to note that another hacker had earlier released thousands of credit card informations of many Israelis some time back.
    israel stock exchange
Israel had gone into damage control mode claiming that the website is different from the actual trading system and hence the trading functionality of the stock exchange was never affected. Similarly the website of EL AL simply refused to display .

Both the victims had started devising methods to prevent further attacks from hackers which is imminent as the Palestine group Hamas has threatened that they intend to continue with this new war form.

Invalid Clicks and Click Bot: Google Adsense Tips

Here is an article about  preventing invalid clicks and click bots from disabling your Google Adsense account.

Google Adsense is a hen that lays the golden eggs. You need to keep intact. So to do that you need to be familiar with the Google Adsense regulations and policies.Further you need to follow them.

So now you are doing everything in the right way.But still there are possibilities of your Google Adsense account getting disabled.Any of your competitor might send a click bot  that click around 60 ads per minute.

If such a  thing occurs , Google would not be quite happy with you as the integrity of Adsense is being questioned and Google needs to answer to the Adwords advertisers.

So you need to follow the basic steps to prevent this from happening.

    • Brake down the Ad units into separate channels
Now you can see which of your ad unit is getting the unusual clicks.

    • Use Google analytics
If you have not registerd with google analytics you ned to do it now . this will help you monitor your visitors better.

    • Monitoring Adsense
Monitor your daily CTR (Click through rate)  once or twice a day and make sure that no invalid activity is taking place.

    • STATCOUNTER
Use the facilities provided by www.statcounter.com and register your website with them. This website allows you to track your site activity including the IP address of the person / site doing the invalid clicks.

Whenever such an incident occurs, take screenshots of that activity and  send it to the Google link below along with all the proof about the activity.

    • Do not fail to report it to Google
The link to the Google invalid clicks form

even if you do not get any reply, you will be on the safer side with Google adsense.

    • Use the Authorized Sites feature in Adsense
An invalid clicker is not  a problem for Google or for us. The problem occurs when the Adwords advertisers are being looted by the invalid clicker.so if you see any invalid activity in your site find out where it is happening take that ad out of the Authorized Sites list.So the invalid clicker will still click on the ads but will not cause you any harm. Only problem is that your daily revenue may  be affected. But thinking long term, this world be an effective strategy.
