On january 5,the academy will screen the clips of the songs.No more than 2 songs will be selected under a category.Songs should get a minimum for 8.25 points to get selected.If no song gets a minimum of 8.25 points,no songs will be selected.If only one song gets a minimum of 8.25,two other songs which comes under the first which also be selected.If two songs gets qualified,those two will be selected.
