Jayaram has been roped in to play the lead role in the film Manthrikan which will be directed by Anil. The film is being produced by Anand Kumar under the joint venture of Yes cinema company and SRT fims.
Yes cinema company has made a name for their new company with the production of the film Beautiful which had been one of the best films of 2011.Beautiful in fact had Anoop menon and Jayasuriya and Meghna Raj playing the Central charchters.
The film Manthrikan will have 5 heroines with south indian actress Poonam Bajwa playing the main main heroine.The other 4 heroines are newcomers and the film takes up the opportunity to introduce 4 new actresses to malayalam film industry,
