Casanovva was a dream project of Mohanlal and Roshan Andrews. The film is getting mixed responses from the audiences. As per the reports the film have grossed one of the highest initial collections in Malayalam cinema.
WHY TO WATCH CASANOVVA

Movie Casanovva is a treat for any Mohanlal fan. The first half particularly is all about the charm Mohanlal brings tot he film. The character of Casanovva is something Mohanlalcherished to play on screen.The chemistry in the love sequences is indeed superb.Mohanlal hats off to you.
The braveness to introduce some adult dialogues :
The changing face of Malayalam cinema is evident here. But introducing such dialogues in the script is always a risky approach as such dialogues may alienate the family audiences.But hats off to Roshan Andrews for willing to risk it in such a big budget movie.
Some good fight sequences :
Alam Amin had done a good job in Players -Hindi movie.But the film flopped at the box office. He also has done a commendable role in Casanovva increasing the quality of the film in terms of technical approach. Such high profile action scenes are very rare in Malayalam and every kerlaites are advised to watch them on good quality screens.
WHY NOT TO WATCH CASANOVVA
No depth in the story line :
Take the case of any big budget movie released. All those movies if ever it has become a hit it would be because of the strong and in depth story line attached to the film. As they say without a foundation that can withstand all the pressures, how can you build a house.Roshan Andrews should have taken pains to ensure that the movie had a strong base. Roshan Andrews- you might have lost some respect in the minds of kerlaites with this film.
Screenplay had to be better :
Traffic had one of the best screenplay ever written in Malayalam. The success of the film Notebook has to do with the screenplay which took the story into our hearts without much hassles. But needless to say the duo of Bobby and Sanjay disappointed in Casanovva .Particularly if the movie is almost 3 hours long, the script had to compensate with some racy plots and situational shots.
too much hype.Mr. Bobby - Sanjay , kerlaites will look forward to your scripts with more caution in the future.
Too much hype kills cinema :
Over-expectation is the main reason the movie Casanova is getting some below average and average reviews.Such was the hype created about this movie being the next big thing in Malayalam.Confident group got a boost in its brand name popularity with almost every kerlaite coming to know of this business group. If that was the ultimate aim we can say that the movie has fulfilled its purpose.
