Malayalam Movies Releasing on January First Week

As per reports 3 new Malayalam films are releasing this week.These new crop films will be the first films to get released in 2012.In fact Orkut Oru Ormakkoottu has bagged the award for the first Malayalam film in 2011 with its release date on January 5 2012. The other 2 films Asuravithu and Kunjaliyan will release on January 6 2012.The release dates of these films have been confirmed.

Orkut Oru Ormakkoottu

The movie has a crop of youngsters and Reema Kallingal plays the only heroine in the movie. The movie is directed by newcomers Vinod and Manoj. The film will be released on January 5 2012.

Asuravithu

Asuravithu will have Asif Ali playing an action hero for the first time in his career. the film is expected to be a change over in the make up of Asif Ali.The action flick is directed by A.K.Sajan. Samvritha Sunil plays the heroine in the film.The movie is expected to release on January 6 2012.

Kunjaliyan

Kunjaliyan has the talented Jayasuriya playing a normal door next boy character again.Ananya plays the leading lady in the film which is all set to release on January 6 2012.

Venisile Vyaapari is the new Malayalam Movie directed by the veteran director Shafi.The movie is produced by Madhavan Nair under the banner of Murali Films.James Albert dons the script after 3 successful outings.This is the first time he is penning for Mammootty.

The movie includes a starcast of Kavya Madhavan,Poonam Bajwa,suraj Venjarammoodu,Salim Kumar,Vijaya Raghavan,Jagathy sreekumar,Sreeraman, Kalabhhavan Shajon and Rajan Padoor. The music is Bijipal and the lyrics written by Kaithapram. Cinematography is done by Shamdat.Manoj does the editing part of the movie.

The film has been shot in the picturesque locations of Alappuzha and the story is set in the 1980s of Kerala.The movie is released in almost 90 Centres all over Kerala and is running successfully at the box office with average reviews.
