Food For Health


Good health is the most precious gift that you can have in your whole life time. Physical and mental health is needed for the success of your day-to- day life. The secret behind the productive lifestyle is healthy food. So the knowledge and the use of healthy food are very important. What is meant by healthy food?  There are foods with high nutrition values and they help you to have healthy mind and a body. Dairy products, vegetables, meats, fish, legumes, fruits, grains are few examples for nutritious foods which contain carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins, proteins and fats. These types of food are called as healthy food. These healthy food components play major role in our body functions. For an instance there are certain amino acids and fatty acids which we cannot produce within our body and we need to provide them through food. Also the trace elements are one of the components which are contained in healthy food and especially our body functions require them.
Some healthy food has anti-aging and antioxidant properties. The vitamins help you to have healthy skin, eyes and they are required for normal growth.  The carbohydrates are the main source of energy for our body and important for proper metabolism. Proteins are needed for your body structures like muscles, skin, and hair. Even though minerals are different from the other nutrients, they play major role in physiological functions, functions in nervous system. These nutrients can protect you from diseases. It is important to have a well- balanced diet plan and one should avoid overeating too. Also some people get ill due to lack of nutrients and overeating.
Though healthy food is necessary for all, it is more significant in the case of children and women. Most women face nutrition problems like anemia, osteoporosis, etc. Also healthy food is important for child's brain development. The availability of healthy food is not same for everyone in the world due to the world food problem. Even though everyone has the right to get healthy food, it is impossible to find healthy food for everyone because of poverty.  But WHO mostly deals on this issue and tries to make equal distribution of these facilities. There is an argument between instant foods and natural foods on their nutritional value. Some nutritionists say that natural foods are better than instant foods while the others say there is no difference between them. However healthy food does more impact on our health weather it is instant or natural.  There are lots of experiments goes on the importance and the impact of healthy food for our body functions and productive life since it can affect our life.
