In The World Of The Video Games

Today we do not see kids playing in the parks and on the streets, most of the time they are stuck in front of their computers and video games. Some parents also find this as an easy way to have a control over their kids, and have them in front of their eyes rather than being worried while they are outside on the street. So they do not really pay attention to their kids and how long they spend in front of their video games. At the same time, many parent’ s societies are boycotting the video games from their children so they would go out to play, get enough exercise and outdoor activities which is very much important for their healthy physical and mental development. The market for video games is very big, largely and easily available for all kinds of media, like computers, mobile phones play stations, etc. This makes it very difficult for the parents to prevent and control the amount of time that their kids spend playing video games.
The history of the video game goes back to 1947 when they were used as interactive electronic devices employing cathode ray tube.  Later in 1951 Nimrod video game computers appeared, followed by ticktacktoe computers that appeared in 1952.
By 1961 games like Space war were developed.  By 1975 there was home and arcade version of the video game Atari’s pong. Since then the video game market has developed into a huge industry. These days there are games available for personal computers, mobile phones, X box, play station and the list continues almost endlessly.  Today there are many types of video games, from casual video games like Solitaire that comes in the Microsoft windows to strategy video games like Grand Theft Auto. Other than casual games there are core video games like Bit trip and Little Big Planet available for Play station 3.  Then there are serious video games with tactics like “World of war craft” and “Counter strike” that can be played online with multi players.
The market for the video games is very big these days and the production industries are having competition on marketing and producing new and advanced video games.  They are making the video game with better resolution, in 3D motions, interactive possibilities, which make it more and more exciting, and addictive for the users. The addiction for the video games has become so huge in the world that more and more people are becoming overweight, many adults lose their job and their relationships and more people are suffering from back injury like slip disk and other spine abnormalities. Due to lack of physical exercises people are prone to heart attacks and other serious disease that make the human life shorter.
