Magical Winter Holidays


Winter holiday always carry some magic with them. Maybe it’s because of the festivity feeling or because of the snow that covers everything and makes the world looking like a fairytale. No matter what the reason might be, winter holidays get all the family members and friends together to enjoy in high spirits. The Children are free from school responsibilities and the homes smell on cinnamon and mulled wine.

Some people decide to spend their winter holidays in their homes with their families and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace while they sip warm wine or tea with orange cake. Others decide to go and visit some relatives in other cities, or they choose to go on the mountains and enjoy the fresh, crispy air on a mountain walk, or the winter sports. The choices are various and for different people the winter holidays have different meaning.

Some people love winter holidays because of the festivity mood, others do not really like the celebrations but they rather anxiously wait for the winter holidays to be able to go skiing. Some folks do not like the noise of the celebration in the cities neither the skiing, but they opt for a winter holiday in a mountain villa, where they can enjoy long walks in the sunny days, a snow ball fight or making a snow man.

Children that have grandparents who live in villages are always happy to go and visit them and spend their winter holidays blithely and cheerfully. These winter holidays are the most joyful for the children, because they can enjoy in the nature in the endless games in the snow, spend the time with the grandparents and often with cousins or other family members, as well as the opportunity to do something different and see a lot of animals that are not part of the city life. These are always great experiences that keep the children excited and active, and after they are back in the school they have many trilling stories to tell to their friends.

Winter holidays are not necessarily snowy holidays, of course there are parts of the world where in winter there is no snow but it’s rather sunny. No matter to which country or part of the world they belong, folks love winter holidays because during these time many festivals and celebrations are happening, and they spend joyful time with their families and friends. Winter holidays remind people on travelling and going to exotic destinations or favourite dear places, visiting friends and families that live far away and they can not meet them during regular working periods.

Winter holidays mean freedom and detachment from the daily routine and responsibilities, it mean no worries for the alarm clock in the early morning.
