Celebrity Cricket League was started by Mr. VISHNU VARDHAN INDURI who is now the managing director of the cricket league.the board of directors includes :
- Vishnu Vardhan Induri
- Sreenivasulu Moorthy
- Tirumal Reddy
- Sharat Kumar
- Dr. R.R.Pujari
- Ashok Kheny
In the first edition of the celebrity cricket league there were only 4 teams.Later now in the 2012 edition, 6 teams are participating in the event.The teams are:
Mumbai Heroes team franchise is owned by favorite Bollywood actor Sohail Khan under the company Mumbai Heroes Sports LLP .Action hero Sunil Shetty is given the role of the captain
Telugu Warriors team franchise is owned by Mr.Mahesh Reddy of AMR group. Veteran actor Venkatesh is given the responsibility of captaining the side.
Karnataka Bulldozers team franchise is owned by Mr. Ashok Keny under AKK Entertainment PVT. LTD. The team is led by a superb player Sudeep.Karnataka Bulldozers enterd the final of the previous version of celebrity cricket league.
Chennai Rhinos team franchise is owned by Mr.K.Gangaprasad under Chennai Rhinos PVT.LTD. The team will be led by the young Tamil actor Vishal.
Kerala Strikers is the new team which is owned by Mohanlal, Lizzy Priyadarshan and Mr. P.M.Shaji. The team will be captained by Mohanlal himself.
