Sreenivasan- the name itself is enough in kerala for the cine goers to flock to the screens.Such is the professionalism this man has shown in various films that have entertained every keralite. Add to this the flavour of Saroj Kumar -one of the most highly celebrated film character ever in Malayalam. The name had become a phrase of showoff in kerala after the the character first came to the fore in Udhayanaanu Thaaraam.
Now both of them are back.
The film has blended the characters from UdhayannauThaaram.The film is directed by debutant SajinRaghavan on the script written by Sreenivasan himself. Review
Movie was well received by the audiences. Sreenivasan shows how he still can take a film to the end along with no superstars to accompany him on the journey. The screenplay can be said to to be the real hero as a lot of recent events have come in the film.
The recent raids conducted by CBI on the houses and companies of Mohanlal and Mammootty have been shown in the same sarcastic methodical style of Sreenivasan.
Prithviraj too gets the treatment for his remarks about English speaking heroes. Cooling glass controversy which had Mammootty at the centre too gets a role in the film.Aanakombu episode which had Mohanlal also is not left out of the screenplay.
The film is about jagathy [ pachalam bhasi ] who has now become a producer. He starts to produce a film with saroj kumar in the lead and directed by the character done by Fahad Fazil. The story gets a roll on when Saroj Kumar hits a junior artiste [Vineeth Sreenivasan ] and how the turn off events make vineeth the hero in the film.
Interestingly the film is packed with sure shot performances from Vineeth Sreenivasan and Fahad Fazil..Fahad Fazil excels in his role.Vineeth Sreenivasan at times in dialogue delivery lacks the punch.Mamtha comes to the fore as the wife of the Central character saroj Kumar.Many times the feeling arose that her character in the movie could have been avoided. Jagathy as pachalam bhasi still has got the charm to make audiences laugh. suraj has become unavoidable factor in any Malayalam cinema.
The movie had one of the humorous scripts written and also apt treatment makes this film a good combination to watch. The climax sequences and some slapstick comedies are not worth the efforts.
Watch the film with an open mind. Do not watch it with any preconceived notions as i am the fan of this star and i hate that star. Accept the criticism this film provides and you will definitely like it.

Saroj kumar in theaters is not the one who should be left out of the happy week end ahead.At least for once.....
