KTK moves court against BCCI- IPL5 in trouble?
Kochi Tuskers to sue BCCI
Kochi Tuskers Kerala the team that has been removed from the IPL 5 list is taking actions to move court against the Board of Control of Cricket in India. In an official statement released on january 20 2012 in their official facebook page , the management hints at going tothe court against the BCCI challenging the decidion to emove them from IPL -5.
The statement has got a lot of reactions within seconds from the supporters .
Further responding to the news the co-owner of KTK, Anchor group's Mehul Shah confirmed that they plan to move court soon and that the details will soon become clear in the next 2-3 days.
It is important to note that the BCCI auction for the KTK players will be held on February 4 2012. A decision has to be reached before that. There are responses from the experts that the Kochi team have come up against the BCCI too late and now there seems to be no chance for a revival at this last hour.
Further there are chances that the auctions will be held back if the KTK management wins a stay order from the court. If the auction gets delayed again it may affect the IPL schedule which is already running a bit late.
Recently the BCCI had asked the players of KOchi Tuskers Kerala to sue the team management in court.
The question that is being asked by everyone is where were the owners till now?why have they sprung up too late?
Better late than never.It seems like Kochi Tuskers Kerala fans have got another ray of hope in IPL.
