Iphone are marketed and manufactured by Apple inc. They have more features with latest technology. It was first introduced on 9 January 2007.
Iphone has various features such as camera phone, video camera, visual voice mail, text messaging, portable media player and other features regarding internet like e- mail, Wi Fi, web browsing, and 3G connectivity. It has multi touch screen with virtual keyboard. Applications from Apple stores are also available which was launched on 2008. These applications includes games, references, GPS, navigation, social networking, advertisements of television shows, films etc.
There are four models of iphone launched at present such as Original iphone, iphone3G, iphone3GS and iphone4. The ‘original iphone model has GSM phone which has features like other phones. The iphone 3G includes 3G cellular network and A- GPS location. The iphone 3GS has many other features like compass, faster processor, video and higher resolution camera.
The iphone 4 has two cameras one for higher resolution display and another for face time video calling. It was launched 24 June 2010. Iphone has scratch resistant glass with LCD (liquid crystal display) 9 cm touch screen. Its screen is design for bare finger or multi touch sensing. The technology ‘finger work’ has been used for touch and gesture features of iphone . iphone3G has fingerprint resistant coating. It has minimum 4 to 5 buttons, the menu button is situated directly below the display. Apple provides additional headset though iphone is compatible with other headset also. The other features of iphone include internal recharge battery, while replacing the battery it requires opening iphone unit which exposes the internal hardware. It is claimed as iphone battery is capable of 7 hours video, 6 hours web browsing, 8 hours of talk time and 24 hours music.
The iphone4 has 16 GB storage it is also available in 32 GB variants. Its data are stored in internal flash drive. iphone 4 has no expanded storage through a memory card slot or Sim card.
