HP TouchPad

One of the products that HP has announced lately is TouchPad. HP TouchPad is going to be a unique experience for customers. TouchPad is not just designed for fun but also for mobile productivity. Those who want the benefits of webOS on a larger scale, TouchPad is meant for them. For the first time a commixed experience across a variety of devices is offered by the launch of HP TouchPad.
HP webOS has gone bigger and now users can have this wonderful experience of multitasking on a single tablet. TouchPad has a vivacious 9.7-inch diagonal flush capacitive multi-touch display, with a virtual keyboard. TouchPad supports Adobe® Flash® Player 10.1 (beta) in the browser and gives an access to thousands of webOS applications. The dramatic interface offers a spacious workspace and an easy way to organize your work through activity cards feature.
The TouchPad runs webOS 3.0 and has a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-CPU APQ8060 processor in its core. TouchPad has 1GB memory and storage capacity of either 16 or 32GB. TouchPad also had a 1.3MP front camera and a screen resolution of 1024x768. It also offers high speed Wi-Fi connectivity, bluetooth and gyroscope. On screen QWERTY keyboard is an attraction for those who want to work, on the go, on Word and Excel files.
TouchPad is going to launch with accessories like a lightweight carrying case, wireless keyboard and the Touchstone charging dock. TouchPad will be launched this summer with Wi-Fi only, whereas, 3G compatible models will be out later this year. The launching price has not been decided yet but it would certainly be in competition with that of iPad which starts at $499.
The most impressive feature is the synergy between the TouchPad and the other new webOS devices. Touch-to-Share function smoothly passages the information from one device to another. TouchPad can load the same webpage, on its 7.7-inch display in seconds, that has already been loaded on Pre 3 and it requires mere a tapping their backs with each other. TouchPad’s photo application can wirelessly print to HP printers and photo comments on facebook are displaying without loading the facebook app.
The HP TouchPad is impressive and offers much more than other tablets seen lately. HP TouchPad is just like a building block that leads us on a path of smoothly connecting all our worlds through the power of HP webOS. Despite of the power of webOS, HP is a later comer in the market of tablets, and will have to market aggressively to gain ground in the mobile market. Amazon has announced its plans to launch a free Kindle app designed specifically for HP TouchPad but with Apple braging about more than 300,000 apps available for its mobile iOS platform, and Android claiming more than 100,000, HP has yet to work out in this regard.
