How to lose weight with grapefruit

The oldest evidence of grapefruit is from the 17th century, but still argued if his country is Jamaica or Barbados. A little later the scientist John Luna classified fruit such as grapes and from this fact comes from the name grapefruit. Since 1750, when Griffith Hughes described the fruit, it is still conducting research, leading to disputes about the effects of grapefruit as food on the human body. Long ago it is known that this fruit is reach in vitamin C, iron, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Pink and red grapefruits are rich in beta-carotene. It is known that grapefruit helps to reduce weight, improve skin condition, making it supple and fresh. It enhances the quality of sleep and prevent insomnia, assists in treatment of common colds, relieves different types of cough, pharyngitis. One of the most useful substances in the fruit are flavonoids, which act as antioxidants and neutralize and inactivate free radicals that constantly attack the cells of the human body. The impact of free radicals leads to various health problems: heart disease, dermatitis, premature aging and various types of cancer. Although not considered essential nutrients, flavonoids have a positive impact on human health because some strengthen blood vessels and connective tissues, others have anti-inflammatory, antihistamine and antiviral effects. Routine strengthens capillaries and helps people suffering from atherosclerosis and high blood pressure. Hesperidin is a powerful helper of the human immune system as it protects against Herpes Simplex, flu and allergies. Science says that people with proper nutrition need from 1000 to 3000 mg of citrus flavonoids per day, while those on different diets have increased the need for them. It is known that flavonoids are best utilized in combination with vitamin C, and they themselves improve the absorption of vitamin C from the body.
