Migraine and headache – the curses of the twenty first century


The migraine is strong headache sometimes with nausea and vomiting. The women suffer twice more than the men because of the differences in their hormones. The babies and the little children can suffer also but they have different symptoms. Usually they are complaining from stomach pain, nausea and vomiting. Sometimes children are also pale and have pain in their arms and legs.
In some cases the symptoms of the migraine could appear again after years. There is no cure for the migraine but there are ways to be controlled the negative influence and the migraine attack. There are two ways to cope with this “curse”: with medicines or with alternative treatment. Some people said that if you take a medicine before the migraine attack the negative effects will be more bearable.
The probability of migraine attack is higher for people with bad nutritive diet. Therefore you have to take more foods rich in vitamin B, full grain products, milk, spinach and meat. If you have a migraine you have to eat a few times a day but in small quantities which will prevent the wavering of your blood glucose. The desserts and the sweets are also forbidden. The migraine pain could be provoke from the computer screen and if this happen you have to regulate its contrast and brightness. If you stay all day behind the computer in your office you need to ventilate the room very often. It is good also to have flowers and plants in the room because they will moist the air in naturally way. The stress also can cause migraine so you have to learn how to control it, if you can’t avoid it. Very useful can be the aroma therapy, yogi, meditation and the massage. There isn’t a cure for migraine but if you follow some simple rules you can control the attacks. Usually people feel good between the migraine attacks and have normal life. Unfortunately most of the times you don’t know when exactly will be the next attack so it id difficult to make plans for the future.        Still there are many employers who can’t or just don’t want to understand that the people suffered from migraine are normal and can do a job like everybody else. Some doctors also refuse to give prescriptions for medicine which can really reduce the pain during the migraine attacks.
